Wedding guest dresses for spring

wedding guest dresses for spring

Hello and welcome back to The Visual Aspect blog! Today we are talking about wedding guest dresses for the spring. I feel like the wedding season is about to be in full swing, and it can be challenging to figure out what you are going to wear. Spring weddings are a little tricky because the weather is more unpredictable than usual. However, rain or shine I am going to give you 3 of the best style options for spring weddings.

Living in Texas, it can be cold to warm throughout the day. For this post, I am going to very specific and only focus on dresses. They are so easy to style when it comes to this type of event, and you can also find a variety of styles that can suit your body type.  A couple of styles that would be a go-to is the Maxi dress, wrap dress, and a long sleeve mini dress. There can be some overlap with these styles but for the most part, they are versatile.

The Maxi and Midi Dress

Maxi dress (and midi dress) can be extremely flattering and easy to style. The main thing I love is that they give you a goddess vibe with the flowy fabric. You look dressier and more elevated with very little effort. The maxi dress can be found in a wrap dress style, with a V-neck, flutter sleeves, you name it! If there is more detail happening on the dress, that means there is less work for you to do. Pair your dress with pumps, high heel sandals, or booties (depending on the weather). Statement earring and a clutch will pull the outfit together perfectly!

The Wrap Dress

The next style for wedding guests dresses for spring are wrap dresses. Wrap dresses are by far the most versatile dress style out there. I know that is a blanket statement but trust me you can make it work for your figure. For example, if you have a larger chest you can layer the dress with a pretty lace camisole to provide more coverage. If you are curvier, the wrap style gives you that hourglass shape…and who wouldn’t want that?! Wrap dress range from mini dress all the way to a maxi dress length, so you have a variety to choose from.

The Long Sleeve Mini Dress

The mini dress is a flirty look and a great option for warmer temperatures. Many of the options I choose below have long sleeves because the weather could also be cooler. Of course, it is up to your discretion. I get cold very easily, so I usually have one half of my body more covered during this time of the season. Pair the dress with a strappy sandal, clutch or crossbody bag you can wear on your shoulder, and chandelier earrings. Now you are good to go!

And the bonus is… Jumpsuits!

The last style option for wedding guest dresses for spring is a bonus! I also wanted to add jumpsuits to the list because they are a game-changer. Jumpsuits are such a staple classy outfit choice and I just couldn’t leave them off the list. They are easy to style and have your outfit come together seamlessly. Pair with statement jewelry, a pair of pumps, and you are ready! There are so many amazing options out there and I have a variety listed below.

I hope this was helpful and you are all set to looking gorgeous at your next wedding you attend! If you have multiple weddings and don’t want to buy a dress for each one, I would suggest looking into Rent The Runway. I have used them before for this specific reason and it was a great experience! I hope you have an amazing rest of your week and weekend! <3
