The best pair of jeans for any body type

Happy Thursday and welcome back to The Visual Aspect blog. Fall is creeping upon us and I cannot wait! It’s not for the warm drinks or pumpkins, I just love cooler weather and I am so tired of sweating all the time. I am officially over this heat!! So today will probably kick off a slew of fall-related blog posts including some fun ones in there about different events around Austin 🙂 This blog post today is centered around jeans if you could guess from the title. I am making a bold statement and by saying here are the 3 styles of jeans that will look great on ANY body type. That’s right, all of you out there reading this.

If you have been following me for a while this isn’t the first time I have written about jeans or trying to find your perfect pair of denim. If you are newer to the TVA fam first off welcome! And secondly, my story around jeans is that I have a hard time finding a pair that are comfortable and fit my butt to waist ratio. Meaning my butt is bigger than my waist so I’m trying to avoid the dreaded and obnoxious gap in the back of my jeans.

I have found a variety of denim that I have shared that works well for me and hopefully for others that have some curves on their bodies. However, today I wanted to share a traditional style and 2 more unique styles that you should add to your closet. These unique styles you might not have thought about trying on or even buying.

Curvy Skinny Jeans from Madewell

You guys hear me out on this…These jeans are it! Madewell came out with the curvy line maybe a few years ago, and I immediately went in store to try them on. They fit like a dream!!!! They hugged every inch, lifted and supported where you needed it, and these jeans just make you looked snatched. It is a little more of an investment if you don’t shop these on sale. However, you should sign up to be on their insider’s mailing list because they’re always sending out coupons. Also, it’s almost the holiday season and everyone will be having sales soon, so I would wait about a month or so and snag some on a discount.

Cali-Boot from Madewell

Here is another pair from Madewell that I love, and I promise this is not a sponsored post from them haha The Cali Boot is like a cropped boot style of jeans. I like this because it has the comfort and slimmer fit up top and then the bottom of the jeans have this kind of a wide leg, cropped look. My personal favorite is the raw edge hem because it gives off more of an edgier look than the finished hem. But you pick what you like to add to your closet 🙂 This style also falls under the curvy line. However, I did try this before the curvy line came out and the standard-fit worked for me.

Wide Leg Denim from Express

Okay, this is the fun one! Wide leg jeans are very much in and a thing right now. I just had two of my co-workers on my team buy several of their own pairs of wide leg denim. The ones from Express are soooo soft! They are stretchy, form to your body well, and are substantial when it comes to denim. Due to the warmer weather not going away for a little while longer, it is so nice to have a pair of jeans that sit away from the body and are not so fitted. This style would like great on anyone pair with either a more fitted top or flowy top. The pair of jeans I have are still fitted around the butt and waist area, so if you would like to wear a more flowy/voluminous top it will not look overwhelming at all.

I love it! I have the same issue with the gap. It’s not fun and ruins the shape of my beautiful shirts. I feel like that gap just ruins an outfit.

Thank you. I can’t wait to try the first two pairs you recommend.
