Fall-activities-in-Austin-10

Happy Tuesday! I hope you had an amazing weekend and a great start to your week. I spent the weekend gathering more content for the blog:) Although it does get exhausting sometimes I absolutely love what I do! After I took these photos a few weeks ago I immediately thought this would be great to use in a post about different fall-related activities around Austin. Of course, you will also get my 0.02 on what to wear to these events. Let’s get started with some fun fall activities everyone can enjoy! 🙂

Pecan Street Festival

The Pecan Street Festival is going down this coming weekend! It will be from September 21st- September 22nd. I attended a long time ago, but I am excited to go again this weekend with Sean. What is the Pecan Street Festival? Glad you asked! It is a two-day art festival that is held twice a year. Once in the spring and once in the fall. The streets are packed with food vendors, live music, rides for the kids, and of course art!

East Austin Studio Tour

Coming up in mid-November is the East Austin Studio Tour. This is a self-guided tour and event giving local Austin artists a chance to meet the community and display their work. This event is a few months away, so you have some time to plan. I for one will definitely be there! 🙂

First Thursdays at The South Congress Hotel

If you are looking for a fun activity in the SoCo area First Thursdays are for you. From about 5pm-10pm the local business along South Congress go all out for this event.  They have local vendors set up for some quick shopping and live music is usually playing. Head to the South Congress Hotel to get this evening started off right! They have live music, food and drink specials:) Then mosey on down the strip and enjoy the rest of what South Austin has to offer!

Tailgating at UT

This is a big one! Tailgating at UT is a major deal if you couldn’t already tell since football season has started. The only time I have tailgated is during football season back when I was at UTSA. I want to tailgate at least once this season during a UT game and I will be following this guide. I heard it a lot of fun, so I have added this to the list.

Alright, that is my shortlist of activities that I like during this time of year. While creating this post, I had a lot of ideas of places to visit that’s near Austin, but outside of the city. If you wanted to take a day trip to San Antonio or stay in Houston or Dallas for a quick getaway trip.

I will continue to also work on that list and share that with you soon:) I think you would love it! I hope this post was helpful and that you got some good ideas for some upcoming activities you would like to go do. See y’all at the Pecan Street Festival this weekend! 🙂
