The best Fall and Winter boots for women

Happy Wednesday!! Its hump day and it is so cold AF outside. We just skipped right over fall and the 30-degree winter weather is upon me here in Austin, TX. So, for today’s post, I want to share the best fall and winter boots for women this season. If there is one thing that I look forward to with the cooler weather is being able to layer my clothes and boots. Boots are my favorite fall/winter staple and I already have my eye on a new pair that I am waiting to go on sale.

I honestly feel like you can have too many pairs of boots. Of course, they would all be different! Sometimes every couple of years a brand has a new design on what the OTK boot looks like and I already know I’d were that shoe all the time. However, this post isn’t about my slight obsession with shoes but to give you a round-up of boots for you to shop from. So, I am going to be breaking this down into different categories and highlight my favs!

Ankle Boots

Ankle boots are one of my favorites because they are so versatile and easy to style. I usually have 2-3 pairs in my closet and that is because I wear them to work all the time. In order to avoid wearing them to death, I have a few I can rotate through. What I have in my closet is a black pair and a brown pair that are flat. Then I have a maroon pair from Zara that has more of a tread sole that I usually wear when it is raining. There are endless possibilities but here are my picks!

Calf Height Boots

This length can be hit or miss depending on your legs and if you to potentially draw attention to your calves. The pair I have are mesh so I mainly wear this during warmer months into fall, but this style is one that I like. It creates a different dynamic when it comes to your outfit. I love wearing this style of boots with midi-length skirts and dresses. It keeps a good portion of your feet and ankles warm with it being a knee-high boot. You can also style with skinny jeans, leggings, and tights.

Knee High Boots

Knee-high boots have never gone out of style but the emphasis on having a pair is coming back. I longer have a pair myself, but it is on my wish list. This is another versatile style of boots that can be worn with many different outfits. My wish list is down below, and I am looking for a block heel, kind of slouchy style 🙂

OTK Boots

And we are ending on the cream of the crop, OTK boots! I feel like it was only 2 years ago that these babies took the fashion world by storm. I know for a fact that OTK boots are not going anywhere soon. I have a couple of these boots in my own closets. I have a pair that is flat and with a heel, and soon, I will secure the dreamiest pair yet. However, I am trying to be smart about it and wait until the black Friday sales 🙂 But anyway, here are the last picks below!

I agree with your picks though I have yet to invest in an OTK boot! It doesn’t get super cold where I live so it’s been a dilemma of sorts. Then again, can I really call myself a fashion blogger if I don’t own one?! Btw, love your outfit in this post. It looks amazing!

Thank you! And I totally understand where you’re coming from:) In Texas it gets just enough cold weather to justify the OTK boots haha But there are so many styles of boots to choose from, that will suit your needs! So I say go with a pair that you’ll love and get great use out of:)
