ACL Festival outfits on a budget

We’re about a week away from the best two weekends in the city of Austin and that is ACL Festival. I am so excited to go and spend time with friends and listen to some amazing music! Per usual a few weeks before (honestly even up to the day before), the excitement is beginning to set in and the most important question is what am I going to wear?! I’m sure I am not alone here when it comes to this. I feel like I have been planning my outfits sine the weekend 1 of Coachella. After watching all my fav bloggers on Instagram flounce around the park in the cutest outfits. Today I am going to talk about ways to get your ACL outfits together but on a budget.

For some these tips can be obvious, but I am here as a reminder. You don’t have to break the bank for a three-day festival. I put so much pressure on myself to what I am going to wear that I just blackout and start ordering a bunch of clothes. However, this year I am trying to avoid that, so this basically leads us to the first point!

Shop in your own closet

I know the feeling all too well. You throw open the doors of your closet look inside and think I have nothing to wear!!!!! But those are lies lol I just want to avoid trying to put an outfit together and go buy something else. So, my challenge for you is to choose one outfit from your closet that you can wear for one of the days. I just did this myself and I’m going to look fly as hell haha

Use that discount code and shop the sales

At this point, retail stores have started to stock sweaters and winter clothing EVERYWHERE. If those short shorts or little crop tops aren’t on sale right now, then there’s something wrong. But I have looked around at some major retailer’s sites and just about everyone is having a sale. I just purchased two dresses from Vici Collection, and they had a 20% off coupon. I think they always have some sort of coupon available to use but stuff like that is extremely helpful!

Create a budget and stick to it

The last tip is if you are going to buy new clothes, there is nothing wrong with that! 🙂 But give yourself a budget and stick to it. Believe me, I have pressured myself into buying a bunch of things before the festival so all my IG pics like amazing, and that I have content for my blog, etc. etc. etc.  However, you don’t want to be broke before you even show up at the festival, right? But go get those cute outfits together, stay within budget so that you can enjoy the yummy food and drinks once you get there.

As always, I will be posting a blog about my ACL experience this year.  All the details will be included, so keep an eye out for that. If you are unable to make it to the festival, follow me on Instagram to get the full experience from my perspective 🙂 I hope to see you out there!!
